I had originally entitled this post “Accidental Icon,” not because the woman in the featured image is the author of the blog Accidental Icon, but because this woman did remind me of the blog and the celebratory act of getting dressed.
I crossed paths with this lady in the streets of Antwerp, Belgium. We briefly exchanged compliments on each other’s apparel and then parted. Moments later, I thought, “I want a picture of that woman.” Above is that picture.
I do not have permission to post this woman’s image, but somehow, I think that she wouldn’t mind.
Which brings me to the author of Accidental Icon (who’s image I also do not have permission to post). I appreciate any and all beings enjoying the daily (even hourly) possibilities of dressing up and being seen. “Brava!”
